I have been developing since I was about 13~ years old. Around the time when Myspace was at their
peak. Everyone was rolling with their unique profile with custom css and hidden media player
blasting their favorite audio of choice. I really liked how easy it was to make changes to your
profile and how far you could go with tiny `css` hacks. Since then, I have always been captivated
by the process of breaking, building and working on websites. Over the years, I have gained extensive
experience in various aspects of software development, from design to implementation to testing
and deployment.
My home and career
I have had the privilege of calling New York City my home for the majority of my life. I
live here with my wife, family and two three beautiful cats. Praise be to Allah
(swt) for everything. Currently, I am 28
years old and working at one of the biggest pharmaceutical companies as a Senior Principal Software
Engineer. At this place, I oversee the development of complex software systems that are used
to enhance and support the company's operations.
Current purpose
I have a passion for developing software that help people understand complex data and make
their daily lives easier. One of my core principles is a commitment to continuous learning
and exploration. I believe that staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and best
practices is essential for delivering reliable solutions. I'm always exploring new
approaches and seeking out opportunities to improve myself and help others become better
engineers. There is always something to learn and improve upon. My goal with this blog to
share some of the personal stories and insights from my journey.
The next journey
Recently, my focus has shifted on what kind of projects I'd like to work on. By emphasizing
transparency, privacy, and inclusivity, I strive to create apps that not only deliver
functionality but also uphold ethical standards. With a commitment to promoting positive
contributions to society, I aim to empower users while maintaining their trust and respect
throughout the development process.
I believe that software has the power to empower people and simplify their lives. I'm
honored to be a part of this industry and to have the opportunity to create apps that make a
difference.
